Cat Warren is a university professor and former journalist with an admittedly odd hobby: She and her German shepherd have spent the last seven years searching for the dead. Her dog, Solo, is a cadaver dog. Her book explores this topic in a part scientific, part memoir style. This presented an odd challenge. I needed to make a site about a book about dogs and the dead that is NOT cute, but not too dark.
