Wisdom Planning Group

A New Digital Home for a Growing RIA

Wisdom Planning Group, a registered investment advisor based in Orlando, came to us needing a website that reflected the warmth and clarity of how they actually work with clients. As a firm that emphasizes education and partnership over jargon, they wanted a site that felt approachable — something that could speak to a couple thinking about estate planning for the first time just as comfortably as a long-time client coming back to review their portfolio. We worked closely with the team to shape a site organized around their four core services: Estate Planning, Financial Planning, Investing, and Life Insurance. Each service got its own dedicated page so visitors could quickly find what mattered to them, without having to wade through generic financial-industry boilerplate.

A big part of this project was the writing. We collaborated on copy that struck a balance between professional credibility — these are CFP® professionals managing real money for real families — and the human, plainspoken tone that defines how Amilka and John talk to clients. Phrases like “Plan Today. Protect Tomorrow.” and “The best gift you can leave is peace of mind” came out of conversations about what they actually want clients to feel when they land on the page. On the technical side, we built the lead capture forms in Gravity Forms to make sure inquiries route cleanly to the team, handled all the compliance-related links and disclosures (ADV Part 2A, Form CRS, privacy policy), and made sure the site loaded fast and looked great on every device.

The launch came together on a roughly two-week timeline, which was ambitious for a project that included full copywriting, custom photography integration, four service landing pages, a contact system, and all the regulatory pieces a financial firm has to get right. The result is a site that feels personal rather than corporate — one that shows the people behind the firm, not just the services. It’s the kind of project that’s a good fit for what we do at Penner Web Design: small businesses and professional practices that want a thoughtful, well-built website without the bloat or impersonality of a big agency engagement.
